Part of the Capitol's holiday display, an "atheistic billboard" from the Freedom From Religion Foundation that caught the eagle eye of Bill O'Reilly and caused Gregoire some embarrassment on national television, was filched and delivered to a radio station here in Seattle this morning. What radio station did the thief deem worthy to possess said billboard? KMPS, naturally: 94.1, the country station. Yeeeehaw, let the games begin!

Friendly Folk-Pop for the Kids: Hey Marseilles at Vera This Saturday

Was it stolen by a 5th Grader? Shit.
I guess you'd say I'm agnostic, as I don't believe in God, but I have to say I find these crybaby atheists (Freedom From Religion Foundation) just as insufferable as the most ignorant of evangelists.
I'm all for separation of church and state and, failing that, equal representation of the faiths on state property, but the atheistic sign/billboard/whatever is not only stupid, but also insulting.
The other symbols on display are just that--symbols. The Freedom From Religion Foundation, however, chose to display a text which does nothing but insult other people's beliefs.
Bill O'Reilly and this "freedom" foundation can both equally go fuck themselves, in my opinion.
I agree. I see the fact that there is a huge fight beginning because some folks feel marginalized(especially around this time of year) or pressured into celebrating certain holidays. But to act like douchebags certainly doesn't help.
Seems to me that the atheists just put up a sign with a bunch of words on it. It's everyone else that are taking things way too seriously, having a hissy fit, and acting like douchebags.
Now I'm waiting for the Pastafarians to make a display with the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Hopefully that'll knock a few chips off of everyone's shoulders.
