Most. Voters. Ever.

Washington State hit a milestone when it came to voting and voter turnout on November 4th. According to the official ballot count, over 3 million voters cast their vote in the general election and there are still over 50,000 ballots to be counted. A spokesman for Secretary of State Sam Reed said this is the first time in Washington history that voter participation has reached 3 million and that so far 83% of registered voters in Washington actually voted.

All in all it's been a record year for voting in Washington, not only did we have the most voters ever, we had the most new voters registered in the history of the state as well. Let's hope this wasn't just a one time thing and these voters also turn out for less historical elections, such as those local votes that aren't about a President, but rather about keeping schools funded.

I could have sworn that at my precinct, I saw dead people.

Oh, wait, that was something else.
