<description>&lt;p&gt;i believe it&apos;s the law.  if &apos;x&apos;% of employees are being laid off from a location, you have to give 60 days working notice.  some will probably not &quot;work&quot; that long, but they&apos;ll get paid that long.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;just wanted to point out something not in the article - wamu employees are getting 60-days notice.  though it&apos;s little consolation during the holidays, at least they&apos;ll be employed into january (depending on when notice is received)&lt;/p&gt;</description>
