Football Friday: Drunk-Dialing Edition

"Welcome Back Coach Neuheisel," by Flickr contributor Your Daddy
C'mon Huskies. Seriously. We know what you are thinking.
You'd totally do him again.
In fact, you've been thinking about it all week. Listen, you are winding down that crummy four-year relationship that's going nowhere, hoping to be done with it before the holidays. You are a free-agent. And you haven't gotten any in months.
Sure, you know the right thing to do for you (and the kids) would be to find someone nice and stable and hard-working and all the rest. But you can't stop thinking about that fucking awesome weekend when the crew from Miami came to town back in 2000. Man, was that a party or what? And then later that year, you spent that wild weekend together in Pasadena. There were all those people from Indiana there, and you guys rocked all of them, especially that dude with the fucked-up birthmark.
Sure, all of our friends keep telling us he's bad news. "He's got gambling issues" or "He's a liar," they say. And he hangs out with a bad crowd. Whateva. Who can say 'No' to Brad Pitt with a clipboard".
So get off your high-horse, Seattle. You'd do it again, and it would be totally worth it.
Saturday
WSU at Arizona State (2:30 p.m. 1090, no TV)
The Cougs will get caught looking past this one, as they get ready for the Apple Cup.
Prediction: Sun Devils 42, Cougs 10
UW vs UCLA (7:15 p.m. FSN, 950)
The Huskies were pretty good in the first half last weekend. Then, as usual, Coach Willingham continued his half-time tradition of singing Hutterite hymnals to the team, who then emerged from the locker room with their blankies and got blown out.
Prediction: Bruins 24, Huskies 20
Sunday
Cardinals at Seahawks (1:00 p.m., FOX, 710 KIRO)
Hasselbeck is back. The Hawks need to win this to have any chance at the playoffs. Kenny Loggins is singing the national anthem, and that will be the highlight, sadly.
Prediction: Cardinals 34, Seahawks 17
Don't like football? The Seattle University Redhawks men's hoops squad face Chico State Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Elgin Baylor Tip-off Classic.
