Can't Miss It: Tuesday

COO COO CANNONBALL: The Breeders are at Neumo's tonight. The freaking Breeders, people. If we hadn't already made up our minds to spend the evening watching a guy we'd never heard about until yesterday, we would so be there. But you should go, because the Breeders are responsible for a good chunk of our development as a songwriter, and homage needs to be paid. Dammit. The Breeders! Seriously.

8 p.m. doors // Neumos // $25

Beer signRED WHITE AND BREW: If you like beer like we like beer, you should head to Elysian Fields Brewing Company on First Ave. South today and grab a pint while you listen to author Brian Yaeger talk about his beer-soaked travel book Red White and Brew: An American Beer Odyssey. It's a talk sponsored by Elliott Bay Books, so you know it's got to be good.

6 p.m. // Elysian Fields Brewing Co. // Free

BANJOS AND CELLOS: While you all get your Breeders on, we'll be in a dark mini theater in Belltown cozying up to this dude from Colorado named Gregory Alan Isakov. We were tipped off to this one yesterday, and if his MySpace page is any indication, he may be one of our new favorite artists. It's an early show and it's cheap, so come join us. You can't really go wrong when you pair up banjos and cellos.

7 p.m. // Jewelbox Theater // $5
