- Capitol Hill Seattle has the sad news that north Broadway deliciousness El Tajin has closed their doors for good, rather than for renovation. - Happily, not every good family restaurant in Seattle is shutting down. The West Seattle Blog has an interview with the Otis of the OK Corral, the latest and greatest BBQ joint west of Harbor Avenue.
- Georgetown got a grocery store! Hip hip, hooray!
- Wow, it is all neighborhood food news, all the time today! MyBallard reports there was a gas leak at Mike's Chili Parlor yesterday...and we don't mean that in a frat-boy joke sort of way.
- The Rainier Valley Post reports that despite avoiding lay-offs this go-around, the Starbucks on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Graham Street is beginning reduced store hours today.
- Looking for a loving fox hound in your life? The Beacon Hill Blog has information on a gorgeous girl fox hound pup who happens to share our name and is looking for a loving home.
- Is Darcy Burner really commenting on The Daily Weekly? We're kinda jealous if so....Hey Darcy, we'd love a comment or three over here at Seattlest as well.
