President Obama Will Be on TV This Morning

You know how married people are so adorable when they're newly married and they keep referring to each other as "my husband" or "my wife," etc? We keep doing that with the phrase "President Obama," because it's just so holy crap. Anyhow, President-Elect Obama and VP-Elect Biden will be holding a press conference this morning at 11:30 a.m. our time (2:30 p.m. for you East Coasters who might be reading this blog for whatever reason). Tune into NBC or msnbc.com to watch/listen to President Obama.

My favorite part was when he reminded us more than once that we only have one president at a time and, while he will do everything he can to fix all this shit starting on January 20, George Bush is responsible for everything between now and then. Well played, President Obama. Well played.

SQUEE! I do the same thing! It's just so freakin' nice to caress the word "President", to imbue it with respect and honor for the first time in my life (and I was Of Age in the Clinton era but this is Not The Same). I will never get sick of saying it. President Obama... Although one of my friends pointed out that his emails are all signed simply "Barack" so maybe we're on a first name basis?
