Great stuff, The_Tim Can't believe how the 'sites that might be hit' pages basically read like adverts for why these would be so cool to hit. Also the "Enemies within" - including the National Committee to Abolish the Poll Tax and National Council of Negro Youth. They both seem pretty darn bad.

Random tangent: I couldn't find anything more than the front and back cover of that Civil Defense Manual from the Seattle Municipal Archives, but FYI I have the entire thing scanned over on my personal site, for anyone that might be interested. It's really quite fascinating.
