Can't Miss It: Thursday

The Dutchess and the DukeMY GOD CAN BEAT UP YOUR GOD: The Coexist Comedy Tour hits Comedy Underground today, seeking to unite us all through the power of laughing at our religious prejudices. According to a description of the show, "Can an atheist, a Hindu, a Christian, a Muslim and a Buddhist go on the road together, share a stage and be an example of how to get along? Probably not, but our failures should be good for some laughs."

8 p.m. // Comedy Underground // $10

ROCK AND ROLL HEAVEN: There's a pretty killer show at Chop Suey tonight. the King Khan & BBQ Show is joined by the Dutchess and the Duke. We don't know what else to say about that. The music should speak for itself. It's weird, fun stuff, and mostly it just makes us dance in place like the white girl we are.

8 p.m. doors // Chop Suey // $12

THAT DUDE FROM THE DAILY SHOW: John Hodgman, who is one of those people that makes us laugh just looking at him, will be at town hall tonight with Jonathan Coulton. Hodgman has a new book called More Information Than You Require, and Coulton once did a funny acoustic version of "Baby Got Back." If laughing at religion isn't your bag, but you still want to laugh, maybe Town Hall is more your speed tonight.

7:30 p.m. // Town Hall // $5, available at Elliott Bay Books
