Can I just mention I love the way Wallingford stays Wallingford, despite being stuck between two colleges. I mean, yeah, they're all rich and can afford to say no, but it's still a pretty cool lil' area.

re: the NYT shout out to Ballmont... the rule of thumb goes that if you get a mention in the NYT, it's only a matter of time before you jump the shark. As an ex-Ballard resident, displaced due to urbanstyle cookie cutter townhomes, I daresay the shark jumpage may have already occurred. Thank goodness the CD is keeping it real.
