Gregoire: Can We Trust Her to Bend the Rules in Her Favor?

ANNOUNCER VO: First, Governor Gregoire tried to visit a bar...WITHOUT a valid ID. Now she's been ticketed for parking ILLEGALLY. A lawyer should know better. Christine Gregoire. She can't get served. She can't talk her way out of a parking ticket. Is she right for Washington? A Republican governor wouldn't put up with this shit. (Thanks to Tessa over at waking jonas for the picture of Governor Gregoire's parking ticket, and accompanying story.)

I had boobs for a while, but that shit didnt help me none. But it kept me pure in Jesus' eyes for longer than I wanted to be!

  • MvB

    See, now that's funny!

    *tries to grow boobs*

    *sigh*

wait, you guys have difficulty getting liquor? i've lived in this state my whole life and ever since i grew boobs, booze has just been magically appearing in front of me.

    *twirls hair*

  • I know! I just had that conversation with my roommate last night after a visit to the liquor store.

    Are you tapping my wires?!

  • MvB

Yes, this is all *in theory* humorous, Troy. But I wouldn't mind if she decided to bend the rules in *our* favor and loosen up this state's idiotic attitudes around liquor.

  • Just to be clear, I'm pretty sure you're joking, but you don't have to have an ID to enter a bar or buy alcohol in this state unless you look like you could be under 21.

Seriously. That's the law. I shit you not. If you look like you could be under 21.

it was in seattle. my guess is that it was for parking in a passenger load zone. we've never seen anyone ticketed for parking there before. honestly, i don't really hold it against her, this was a state patrol vehicle ticketed by the SPD. she wasn't the driver.

  • MvB

I think it was in Seattle. It came in on our tipline. I don't know how many Olympia readers we might have.

  • jessejb

    Was it in Seattle?

Dino's never even been to Seattle.
