Vivace Coffee Will Win This Election For Obama

Here's a creative idea for how to support the presidential candidate of your choice in this last, crucial week: mail an exhausted campaign worker a pack of vacuum-sealed Vivace coffee beans to help them fight the good fight in battleground states like Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida. The Hoosier State works, too, as Obama supporter/Seattlest's housemate Sarah Moon found out when she received this email back in thanks from an expat Seattlite working for the Campaign for Change in Evansville, Indiana:

Subject: Yes we can...

Message: ...drink delicious, delicious coffee.

I was drinking instant coffee on the bad days, Folgers Lite on the good days. You have no idea how happy I was to open that box, but I had a fight on my hands once the others smelled the coffee. It was like I was the only living person amongst a bunch of zombies and they suddenly realized that I was in fact alive and wanted to take away my life and happiness, my strength and joy - they wanted my Vivace. It was ugly, and I had to do things I hope to never have to do again, things to unholy to include in this e-mail, but I emerged the victor. Righteousness was on my side. The horror...the horror.

You have done a great service for your country.

Find addresses for Obama Campaign For Change offices across the country here (McCain campaign office addresses are here), or if you feel moved to send coffee or food to the Evansville office out of compassion for the lucky worker's envious compatriots, you can send it to:

Obama For America
330 Main St.
Evansville, IN 47708

Why? Because it's the right thing to do! And everyone loves them some Vivace.

I think I might send a bag over to an office in my homestate of VA (a battleground state!) But I'm wondering if it'll get there in time. I should have been paying attention and sent this off sooner.

man...I think I want a bag of Vivace beans. Last time I got some, I took them to Starbucks and had them grind them for me for free. bwahaha

Compare your financial plan under McCain vs. Obama.

What I find interesting is that tax cuts make a small difference in my long-term outlook, while market growth and inflation have a huge impact on my nest egg. The public attention given to tax breaks makes no sense to me. I'm voting for the candidate who will grow the U.S. economy and keep inflation down.
