You'll have to stick to Diddy or Kanye vodka for your celebrity vodka needs from here on out, because an unapproved Jimi Hendrix-branded vodka from Electric Hendrix Spirits received an official ixnay from the federal courts this week. One thing we all need to keep in mind (and that a lot of media fail to mention), is that the makers/owners of Jimi Hendrix Vodka are, in fact, family members of Jimi. Not only that, but many of them (i.e. his brothers) were a helluva lot closer to Jimi than those running the Experience Hendrix estate--specifically that greedy dictator (and adopted sister) Janie Hendrix.

Personally, I have no problem with Jimi's brothers finally making some coin after all this time being legally shut out of the estate.
