The Seamount League: More Ejections Than a NASA Test Pilot

When your prep sports conference is referred to as "the already troubled Seamount League," it might be time to consider hiring a PR firm or send in the state's top high school athletics official.
From the Seattle Times:
The Seamount League already was under scrutiny by the WIAA for excessive ejections over the past two seasons, according to Mike Colbrese, WIAA executive director. He said the WIAA Executive Board directed him to work with the league this season after at least four Seamount schools had players receive five or more ejections for two years in a row. Colbrese met with Seamount athletic directors a week and a half ago."I think the league is going to have to come to grips with the fact that they've got an issue, and I'm sure they will," Colbrese said, declining to identify the schools in question.
So much for that gameplan.
Just days after the meeting, 35 players were ejected from the Renton-Tyee football game, as a result of a bench-clearing brawl that led to the game being forfeited by both teams. Since ejections lead to a one-game suspension, Tyee doesn't have enough active players to field a team in this week's game against Lindbergh. Since this is Lindbergh's homecoming week, school officials have replaced the contest with the Mount Rainier-Lindbergh girls soccer match.
Member schools of the Seamount League are Kennedy, Tyee, Hazen, Lindbergh, Mount Rainier, Highline, Foster, and Evergreen.
