<description>&lt;p&gt;Part of the problem with the lower bridge opening during rush hour is that it prevents cyclists from being able to cross in or out of West Seattle. If you depend on your bike to get to work or school on time this pretty much ruins having a predicable commute. Somehow I suspect that when they said &quot;there isn&apos;t enough traffic to warrant keeping the bridge available,&quot; they were counting only cars. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
