- WaMu really can't catch a break. The Belltowner and PhinneyWood report that their neighborhood WaMu branches were robbed over the weekend.
- Mid Beacon Hill explores "cheap South End fun," including a place that should be on the hipster street-of-dreams, and the Museum of Communications. Being a tourist in your own city is totally fun, so the idea of being a tourist in your own neighborhood strikes us as completely delightful.
- So that's why we didn't have power on Saturday night in the CD. Of course, since we had no power we couldn't log on to check Central District News for updates, but it's nice to know now.
- Capitol Hill Seattle has an 18-point review on new neighborhood restaurant Poppy. We will now go and check out their high-tech hand driers and make sure to order the Papi Delicious, as both CHS and Seattlest recommended it highly.
- The Magnolia Voice covered Nickelsville's final days at Discovery Park.
- Ugh. MyBallard has a look at the condo monstrosity that will replace the old Sunset Bowl. It really is a shame that a once interesting-looking town is starting to look the same all over...so much for Seattle and its charming, unique neighborhoods.
- Like high school isn't bad enough, Cleveland High School students face a "daily death trap" just trying to get to class. The Rainier Valley Post has the story.
- The Big Blog had a busy weekend with talk of "Porn Weekend" at an area church and the most unfortunate "typo" ever.
