Maybe you're sick of the back-and-forth of political debates, where nothing substantive is actually said and everything boils down to the repetition of key drinking words ("maverick," "my friends," and "the Bush administration"). But just in case you're not yet fully revolted by the process, there's a debate tonight today in Bellevue between Dave Reichert and Darcy Burner--the two candidates head-to-head in a rematch for the 8th Congressional District seat. This is the first debate between the candidates in this go-round, and it will hopefully be shown eventually on local public access TV. If and when it is televised, Washington voters, your drinking words are: "Green River killer" and "net-roots."

Actually, the debate just completed, and you can read a detailed account of it at the NPI Advocate.
Perhaps a better drinking game might be based on the number of times Reichert fails to complete an answer because he has talked himself out of time.
