Mear One's Vision At Chapel

Seattlest ended up with somewhat of an autumnal equinox-inspired mini-cold this weekend, a condition which put a damper on our plans to partake in extensive martini consumption. Still, we managed to make it to Chapel for the Upper Playground cocktail party, where we discussed Thai food, Ken Kesey, and the visual arts as social thought experiment with local artist and musician Rob Castro. The brightest star of the night was Mear One, who painted and re-painted this stretch of canvas over the course of the five hour party and allowed himself to be the recipient of much gawking on Seattlest's part. The writing in the painting reads, "THE GOV LIES TO YOU."
