H&M Opens With Samantha Ronson, Blayne & Champagne

Seattlest spent last night at a whirlwind preview event for the fabulous new H&M store downtown. It'll be open to everyone tomorrow at noon. We hear that if you get in line early, you can get a gift certificate to cover your opening-day shopping spree! Woot!

Trust us, there are at least 50 things we felt like buying right off the rack (mostly hot vests and incredibly soft sweaters), if only we'd had hundreds of dollars to blow. As it was, we simply imbibed the complementary champagne and boogied to some tunes spun by Samantha Ronson. We also ran into recent Project Runway-reject and West Seattleite Blayne about 20 times. Mostly, we just played paparazzi. In case you can't contain your excitement for the opening of everyone's favorite budget-friendly fashionable shop downtown, here is your sneak peek at opening night:

Kim, I expect to see that hat at our next Moe Bar happy hour.

weeeeeeeeeeeeee

Im so cool that I live on that block and didnt even care to see any of it.

BTW does anyone know if they will be selling collared dress shirts? Not the crappy ones off the rack, but the folded up nice ones? They def dont carry them at the Southcenter location and they fit perrrrfectly.

no, jesse, i don't recall seeing the collard dress shirts on not the rack. but then, admittedly, i paid far more attention to the women's section.
