Vince Mira at "Rehearsal," by Seattlest Flickr Pool Contributor ChrisB in SEA. Gorgeous.

Vince Mira's on the rise. We took note of him first because of his disconcertingly good Johnny Cash covers, but the dark-eyed teen is writing and performing his own songs now. He's played full-length sets at all kinds of festivals this year, from Sasquatch to Bumbershoot to the Seattle Tattoo Expo, and the singer/songwriter performs fairly regularly at spots around town.

Tonight, Mira will be at the Can Can, where he often is on Tuesday nights. Though we're a little sad he has gone on record saying he does not like rap or hiphop, we are confident in recommending you go out to see him tonight! Drink something Cashian, order a small plate from Can Can's Cabaret Menu, and enjoy your Tuesday evening--cover's free!
