Seahawks Reach Last-Minute Deal to Reinstate Shuttle Buses

The popular Seahawks park-and-ride shuttles have been reinstated this week, just days before the home opener against the 49ers this Sunday. The program had been mothballed due to new federal requirements which forced sports teams to put bids out to private operators. The new plan inserts Starline as the middle-man to the operation and that company will pocket the $2 fare increase over the previous $6 round-trip fare, bringing the new fare to $8. Ah, sweet privatization. So efficient.
