Weekend Sports Wrap-up
This weekend proved that in sports, there's always plenty of room to disagree. One person's trash is another's treasure. It certainly gives us a lot to chew on.
Friday
The Mariners played a game lacking in offense. Or Brandon Morrow's broken-up-in-the-8th-inning no-hitter was possibly the greatest performance at Safeco in the last decade.
Saturday
Huskies: The 28-27 loss to BYU ended on a blocked extra-point. Or the Dawgs were jobbed in what was the most widely discussed college football game of the weekend.
Cougs: The rebuilding continues. Or the team suffered its worst loss in history, getting drubbed by the Cal Bears 66-3.
Storm: The team won at home 96-88. Or Sue Bird's 23 points, led the team to its franchise-record 21st win of the season over the Minn. Lynx. Playoff tickets went on sale after the game.
Sunday
The Seahawks lost a road game to Buffalo 34-10. Or the Seahawks laid another egg on the road, looking mostly unprepared in almost every facet of the game.
See? Two sides to every coin. Certainly gives us something to chew on for next week.

I was at the UW game, and while that call was head-scratchingly bizarre, BYU had 475 yards total and went 12-of-14 for third down conversions. The Huskies were lucky* that game looked close.

Jake Locker likes to play Guitar Hero III, I'm told by my UW spy. That is relevant in some way, I'm sure.
