Even a Yankee fan must appreciate a kid making his first major league start almost no-hitting her team? Right? RIGHT? I mean, c'mon! If he'd actually thrown a no-hitter, it would've only been the second time in MLB history that a pitcher in his first start had done that. Also, the first hit was a double over Ichiro's head in right field. Are you sure you saw the game?

This was easily the most electric game at Safeco this year. And, the crowd was completely into it. Okay, a few Yank fans seemed a bit less than happy. Imagine it - a 2008 Mariners game with actual emotion and tension. Bravo Brandon!

Yeah seriously. How did you watch that game and say "nothing exciting happened"? In Brandon Morrow we finally have a starter who is reliable and can produce. I mean, 8 K's in 8 innings of pitching with only one hit given up? Kid is a fucking machine.

Nothing terrifically exciting happened Nothing exciting happened? NOTHING EXCITING HAPPENED?! In his first major league start, Brandon Morrow took a no-hitter into the 8th inning! This was one of the only exciting games the Mariners have played this year.
