<description>&lt;p&gt;@2 Yeah, we saw the cairns right away in the morning--just couldn&apos;t see them in the dark. And we had a great fire going Saturday and Sunday evenings, but it was a lot of work finding wood that would catch. I don&apos;t think &quot;plenty&quot; is the word I&apos;d use. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;ve had this same hike in pretty well the same conditions. Besides eventually being soaked, through we didn&apos;t have a problem. The cairns are obvious if you&apos;re looking for them (and if you can&apos;t find a trail you should always be looking for cairns). Plus, up at the top there&apos;s plenty of wood and with an even moderately stocked fire kit you can get a solid fire going in not terribly long (and therefore dry off some).

Now, if only the steep bit&apos;d keep the hordes away ... &lt;/p&gt;</description>
