Apologies for the lack of a Roundup yesterday. There was this little obscure music and arts festival going on in town this weekend. Plus, it was Labor Day--so we abstained from work to show solidarity with the proletariat. Now for your regularly scheduled neighborhood news.
- Tigertail in Ballard was broken into this weekend and the safe was stolen. MyBallard reported they were closed on Monday due to the break-in, no word if it will effect the rest of the week's business.
- Not to alarm you, but according to PhinneyWood Ken's Market is now selling mutant roses. Blue, glittery mutant roses.
- Blogging Georgetown (with a hat tip to the Capitol Hill Times) calls a much-needed BS on urban design jargon.
- The Rainier Valley's car-free Sunday wasn't nearly the disaster that Capitol Hill's was according to the Rainier Valley Post.
- Just like this Seattlest, the Hammering Man took Labor Day off.
