Storm Winning; Jackson Walking

The Seattle Storm had good news on and off the court last night. At Key Arena, the Storm downed the Houston Comets 66-49, behind Sue Bird's 22 points, who before the game promised to pick up her offensive play with the loss of Lauren Jackson. Earlier in the day, Jackson had successful ankle surgery and walked out of the hospital. Team officials hope she might be ready for the second round of the WNBA playoffs. (However, those Aussies sure have a strange way of breaking good news.)
