Seattlest Abbey is still recovering from a waterlogged Radiohead show, so we apologize for your morning news delay. We're going to let her sleep in, even if we're still jealous we didn't get to go. Happy morning news! ~Your Editor
- Remember that SNL where they made fun of celebrity Jeopardy, and they had someone doing Sean Connery. He kept calling on the category "Swords for 100," and Alex would have to correct him, "The category is S Words." "Oh, then I'll take Swords for 500." That's what we thought of when we saw Capitol Hill Seattle's post about sword play in Volunteer Park last night.
- Ballard firefighters got a few shouts out over at MyBallard this morning, as they put out someone's kitchen fire and started passing the boot.
- Slog told us the epic tale of how they got The Stranger to the printer this week. We found it riveting, but that could just be our obsessed-with-print-media self.
- Seattle Metblogs posted a first-hand account of the insanity that is the Danskin Women's Triathalon Series, including photos and links to more first-hand accounts.

Sean Connery was played by SNL's Darryl Hammond. It's not surprising that you didn't immediately remember because Darryl really steps into his characters. It's truly remarkable that such an inspired mimic is an uninspiring milquetoast when he does personal interviews.
Like poor Phil Hartman, Darryl is the glue that keeps SNL together year after year. What a talent!
