Sasquatch Will Take Forever To Decompose

Remember the Sasquatch/Bigfoot corpse found in Georgia recently? Last week we heard it "failed a DNA test"--and this week, we find it failed the DNA test because the corpse was made out of rubber. That's kind of funny, but far less interesting than if it had indeed turned out to be Homer Simpson (Seattlest commenter zagreusmd's prediction). Are we the only Pacific Northwestern child ever regaled with medium-tall tales about the Quarks that roam local forests? Surely, those are real.

As I recall, and Dad (I know you're reading this), correct me if I'm wrong, but quarks are little ugly hairy hobbit-esque creatures who lurk around highway concrete edge boundaries and jump out at hikers. I distinctly remember being afraid of them.

@Simoninan--haha! Creative name for a cat, and very cute story.

What's a Quark? Is it like an Artesian?

When I was growing up here we had a cat named Sasquatch -- Sassy for short -- who did indeed have big feet. Apparently in pre-school the teacher asked if anyone could describe a sasquatch and I volunteered that it was gray, furry, had big feet, and lived at our house.
