Cool story about the theater, Katelyn. That was where I saw my first movie in a theater, which I believe was some Disney nature "documentary." Not Bambi, which I think I saw at the John Danz. Also Star Trek: The Movie at the John Danz a few years later, after having an excellent burger at the bowling alley next door, which is now Borders. Now if you'll pardon me, I need to go take my geritol.

Jesse, my friend: Metro #550 or #545 both work GREAT. And Simonian, when they tried to open that theater it was smack dab in WWII. They weren't allowed to open it until they suggested it would "boost morale" on the homefront. Fascinating (to me)!

Who remembers it before they enclosed the mall? a bunch of low-rise buildings, an old funky movie theater, trees, things like that....
