Lightning Strikes!

If you weren't glued to the Women's Event Finals in the Floor Exercise at the Olympics tonight like we were, you might have seen a pretty cool lightning storm in the sky to the East of the city. Thankfully our windows lit up so we caught it.

Unlike most lightning storms around here, this one lit up the clouds and included a bunch of beautiful bolts. (Our wife says it's the first time she's seen bolts in the state though she's lived here since she was 12.) While sitting on the deck admiring the view with our wife, we decided to try and catch a few shots on our little camera. They're not as good as Chicagoist's lightning a few weeks back, but for Seattle, we think they're not too shabby.
