Seattlest's main man David Miller needs your help:
I'm working with Matt Wilkins on his next feature Yonder, and we have need of a somewhat dilapidated house, to serve as our main location for the month of September. Basically, we'd like something kind of run-down and isolated, within an hour from Seattle, ideally near a wooded space. We have a modest budget to rent the space, which we'll be happy to negotiate with the owners. We are fully insured.
David says he'll cough up a fifty-dollar finder's fee to whomever can help a brother out. More details on what is needed from filmmaker Matt Wilkins:
We're looking for an old house with lots of character within an hour from Seattle in a quiet wooded or open rural space. An old vacant farmhouse would be perfect. The house needs to have a long hallway in the center, and at least two-stories. A single-story house with a basement would also work. Ideally would be pre-1940.In the script, Frances repairs mysterious old scars in the kitchen floor and hallway wall. Ideally, we would like a house in which we could make those scars and then repair them. However, we could also build fake walls and floors over the existing structure if necessary.
