That's like their slimmed down version of Gmail, and seemed to work for me even when the regular gmail was down.
I tried that version of the site today, jdavin, and it still didn't work for me.
This is a good time to remember to back up your gmail. I use Outlook.
Guess that's why it's still in Beta after... exactly how many years has it been?
