Interesting. I'm exclusively on Firefox 3 these days, and I live on GMail. I haven't noticed a single problem.

The official Scrabble app sucks donkey dick, too. This is standard operating procedure nowadays: protect your brand by killing it.

@bilco: I know! It's really weird--some people have zero issues. All I know for sure is that my problems started with upgrading to 3.0, and that they're present on both my PC and Mac.
@Fnarf: Yeah, I looked at the official app and noticed it was a huge, steaming pile of failure. Hey, thanks for the visit. I know the Slog crew keeps you busy.

Oh, yeah, I keep forgetting that I'm FAMOUS.
I stop by here too, ya know.

Are you using Firebug on FF3? I've found that Firebug introduces a number of issues in FF3.

@henryrose: No, I've heard that too, but I'm no Firebug. It could be something to do with Gmail Manager (and/or logging in to multiple accounts), but if so, it's something that doesn't affect the FF2 distro. As soon as I reverted to FF2, the Ajax issues stopped.
