Rock Paper Scissors Tournament Tomorrow
After a bit of a lull, it appears that Rock Paper Scissors is back, this time courtesy of the Seattle Gaels, the local organization celebrating the Irish sporting heritage. Unlike the officially sanctioned tournaments we attended years ago, this new tournament doesn't appear to have official backing, but the Gaels have updated the structure in a way that should make the event more fun for all.
Saturday (yes, tomorrow), five bucks grants you entry into the 1st Annual RPS Tournament of Champions, held at Spectator Bar and Grill. You'll be given Gael Bucks, which you'll then use to challenge others in open match play for an hour. Later, the top 7 players will face off, along with an 8th player who buys their way in via auction. Capitalism meets competition - why not?
Now that you've read this, time to get to doing some game theory research to refine your strategy. Sure, this may be for fun and games, but winning is serious business. Our tip: Most people lead with rock. Adjust accordingly.
