Yeah, I bet it's more profitable to be in the Safeway than rent the dedicated space on 15th. But it is surprising--I guess that group of people that hang out at the 15th location all day every day are deadbeats. Which I always sort of suspected...

Yeah the one at Met Park makes no sense, even if it is one of two, it's always packed. I could see the Starbucks on 15th struggling just due to the proximity of really really fricking good coffee--like Ladro and Victrola. Plus there's a Starbucks right there in that gigantic Safeway if you're going for the frappucino, not actually coffee fix.

The one at Denny and Aurora already closed, but I'm surprised to see both 15th Ave E and Met Park on the chopping block. Those two locations are always busy!
