King Cobra Up For Sale, And Here's Why

King Cobra recently hypnotized us in a pleasant, non-Jungle-Book kind of way with its '80s-esque underlit bar tables, ample comfortable seating, great sound, and creative booking. Now we find it's for sale! Why? King Cobra's owners say it's because of "personal financial issues," "management mistakes," "lack of experience," and "lack of marketing." On the other hand, the venue's in good with the cops and Liquor Board and the owners are going to try to make a sale that keeps the current employees and general format. For the love of God, would someone cool please buy this place before it gets turned into a mini-Neighbors?! Price: $425k. Interested cool buyers, contact jmegarza at the yahoo service dot com.

That's piss poor marketing. Never heard of it. How sad for me.

Wouldn't its previous incarnation as Sugar qualify it as having already been a "mini-Neighbors"?

Yes, maybe it should have been "gets turned into a mini-Neighbors again."
