What’s Cookin’: Seattle Chocolate Salon

chocolate%20salon.jpg

We’re still digesting the ample fare from FareStart’s Guest Chef on the Waterfront event, but if you’re a chocoholic (and the new Chocolopolis isn’t quite enough for you), then you might just want to attend this Sunday’s Seattle Luxury Chocolate Salon.

Let’s break that down. Seattle—that’s us. Luxury is something we can live with. Salon is a gathering.

And Chocolate is, well, chocolate. There will be lots of it, of the luxury variety, at this Seattle gathering. Look for area favorites like Theo, Dilettante, GrendelSweets, Fiori, Oh!, (Whidbey) Island Angel, and more—both local and beyond. In addition to tastings, there will be demos, discussions, and a chance to take in some Chocolate Television.

We’re not exactly sure what the day will be like, as details at the website are a bit sketchy. But we’ll be there; Seattlest is well-represented on the judging panel. Look for us. We’ll be the ones with the chocolate stains.

Sunday, 7/13, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. // Bell Harbor's Elliott Hall at Pier 66 // $17.50 ($20 at the door)
