Can't Miss It: Tuesday

UNDER DA SEA: If, like Seattlest, you are fascinated with underwater life, tonight's your night to revel in the glories of the deep ocean. Seattle Symphony will be playing as a giant screen shows you images from the BBC series The Blue Planet.

7:30 // Benaroya Hall // $17-75

B.Y.O.B. (BRING YOUR OWN BAG): City Council will be discussing this whole bag tax thing tonight at their meeting, and you should go help them discuss it, if you're interested in that sort of thing. There are plenty of pros and cons, and they can make a better informed decision if more people turn up for the discussion. Do your civic duty tonight, then, and watch a Council meeting in action.

7 p.m. // City Hall // Free

HARDCORE COUNTRY DANCE PARTY: Yeah, you read that right. We hear the new house band at the Little Red Hen puts on a hell of a show, pulling out all the country classics of the early country-pop era (think "Friends in Low Places" and "Family Tradition"). Get there early and learn how to dance to the stuff, with their free country dance lessons. There's always a party at the Little Red Hen.
