Can't Miss It: Wednesday

HAVE SOME FAITH: George Michael wrote songs that informed the sexuality of millions of young girls around the world—songs that went on to become gay anthems, long before he came out. The 25Live Tour promises to be the hottest, funnest, gayest, screamy-est concert Key Arena has seen all year. Wave to this Seattlest who will be sitting in the second row.

8 p.m. // Key Arena, Seattle Center // $49.40-$250

A BIG NIGHT OUT: Columbia City is promising to be the next up and coming neighborhood, complete with new townhouses and its own theater venue. Big Night Out, a monthly cabaret broadcast on the Seattle Channel, is taped in front of a live audience. July's show features Jason Webley (Tom Waits-ian flair), Macha Monkey's singing cowgirls (Cute and blue) and the ukulele theatrics of K. Brian Neel, whose version of "Under Pressure"
always brings the house down. Be a part of the studio audience, just by showing up.

Doors at 7 p.m., Show at 8 p.m. // Columbia City Theater, 4918 Rainier Avenue South // $10

INDEPENDENCE DAY VS CANADA DAY: Watch the Seattle Mariners play the Toronto Blue Jays in a gorgeous evening game (it will be 79-60 degrees, partly cloudy). Have a hotdog, wave a pennant and watch Ichiro's effortless moves in the field.

7:10 p.m. // Safeco Field, 1250 1st Ave South // $8-$70
