<description>&lt;p&gt;Pre-Idol, I saw B-Shorty at Flowmotion&apos;s Summer Meltdown Festival in Darrington.  I was completely taken by his talent and originality (dawg), and spoke his graces to all sorts of people.  Then I had to admit that, &quot;Yes, that&apos;s the same dude I was talking about on American Idol....shuddup, he&apos;s actually good!&quot;

And, aside from the songs he performed on AI, and for the appearance at Westlake last Summer (all of which pretty much blew in comparison), I haven&apos;t heard any more since.  So hopefully, the &quot;slumming&quot; we&apos;re all hoping he&apos;ll be doing will be a return to his musical roots, and not just another inflated L.A. ego.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
