If you're not, you better get ready. Michelle Obama, the future First Lady of the United States, will be joining Washington Governor Christine Gregoire onstage for a fundraising event in July. Somehow this fundraising event is free—seems like flawed logic to us—and open to the public. It will take place on July 17th at WaMu Theatre at Qwest Field from noon to 3 p.m.
While WaMu may be a less than desirable place for a concert, hopefully it is just the right venue for a repeat of Michelle Obama's greeting on The View. We love a lady who can make levity of the ridiculous things that are said about her...terrorist-style fist jab, anyone?

We knew a free fundraiser made no sense! Despite absolutely no mention of the cost on any press release or the Facebook event page--we got an email from Gov. Gregoire's press secretary saying there is a minimum donation of $200 to attend the Obama/Gregoire event.
