The Oregon Supreme Court ruled today that helping a pal move their pot plants is indeed illegal. To which we have to say: it took the Oregon State Supreme Court to decide that? Surely a lower court could have easily ruled on this decision, ending it with a "duh."
At the center of the case is Thomas Fries, who argued he should be acquitted of a marijuana possession charges because he was simply helping his friend move some plants....plants which just happened to belong to the cannabis and not-legal-in-the-U.S. family. The judges ruled that Fries was in legal possession of the plants when he used his vehicle to transport them, since he had physical control over them. After Fries made his case in court, we hope a judge quipped, "Son, you must have been smoking some of those plants to think that argument would work."

Cannabis Sativa or just plain Cannabis, but not Sativa.
I knew, whatever I'd written with that, it was going to be wrong. Thanks for the correction, it's been changed.
hehehehe his name is "fries."
Isn't medical marajuana legal in Oregon? Maybe his glacoma-laden grandmother couldn't drive and needed his help moving her medicine.
(what? It could happen)
