There are quite a few things going on for the gays today, this week, and for the next month or so.
First of all, there ain't gonna be any Pride on Broadway this year. For the first time since the year of this Seattlest's birth, there will be no Pride on Broadway. After the big gay mess of last year's debacle, the powers that be have opted to just keep it downtown. We dragged ourself kicking and screaming to the downtown Pride parade last year, and actually wound up having a pretty good time. We're still a little cynical about the Seattle Center bash, but we've heard from plenty of others who had a ball.
Also notable is the story of Sirbrina Guerrero—castmember of A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila. You may recall Guerrero was eliminated, even though Tequila thought she was hot. Well, this week she was also eliminated from Safeco field during one of the much-discussed Mariners vs. Red Sox games, after kissing her girlfriend. Seattlest has contacted the local reality show quasi-celebrity for comment on both events, and we're awaiting a response. She'll be on KOMO 4 tonight, though, according to her MySpace page.
And, finally, as noted earlier, SIFF is having a big Gay-La tonight at Neighbours following the showing of Kiss the Bride (a gay-themed film featuring Tori Spelling, of course). $25 gets you into the Gay-La, so start your weekend early. With the way the weather's supposed to be shaping up, you'll want to play hooky tomorrow anyway.

Tuesdays are Muppet Days

Did those guys ever pay their bill to the city from the parade in 2006?
