Can't Miss It: Tuesday

NOT THE YANKEES: The Mariners, bless their hearts for trying, will take on the Red Sox tonight at Safeco Field. We weren't impressed with the one game we already saw this year, but we're willing to cheer on the home team tonight as they take on that East Coast team that's not the Yankees.

BIG, BIG VOICE: British singer/songwriter Adele will be gracing the stage at the Triple Door tonight. We first caught wind of Adele when she was on the Jools Holland show last year. She has that quiet, magical quality that we so love in our singer/songwriters. She'll probably be awe-inspiring live.

FRIENDLY FIRE: Remember the story of Pat Tillman—the NFL player who was killed by "friendly fire" in Afghanistan. Remember this drama that unfolded in the news? Well, his mom is in town to read from her book on the matter, Boots on the Ground By Dusk: My Tribute to Pat Tillman. According to the listing, the book is "Mary Tillman's account of her ongoing quest for the truth about her son's death and the ensuing coverup, which even after a series of inquiries, investigations, and two congressional hearings leaves many questions unanswered."
