What's Cookin': Patio Party at Ponti

With Memorial Day weekend approaching, the weather warming (sort of), and boats a-sailing, it’s time to think about eating outdoors. We’ve got lots of gorgeous places to gorge, but few are finer than Ponti Seafood Grill.

Ponti offers two outdoor patios where you can watch the boats go by as they make their way below the Fremont and Aurora bridges. We recommend a reservation now if you’d like to enjoy the view while at the Ponti Patio Party on June 1.

This popular barbeque event features local seafood, meat and produce (note that Giles van der Bogert has returned to Ponti as executive chef after two years at BOKA Kitchen + Bar), along with tastings from Matthew Cellars, DaMa Wines, and Maritime Pacific Brewing. Sounds like a splendid afternoon sipping, sampling, and soaking in the sun—hopefully.

Sunday, June 1, 1-4 p.m. // Ponti Seafood Grill // 304 3rd Ave. N // $60, includes tax and gratuity
