TEENY BOPPER EXPRESS: Disney's High School Musical opens at the Paramount tonight, so maybe steer clear of the teenagers downtown. If you have your own teenager, maybe it's a good night to set them free with their friends so they can go sing along and goo-goo-ga-ga over the cute boys and dreaminess of this sensational teenfest.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Seattlest made it to the Seattle Storm's opening night this past weekend, where they came back from behind to beat the Chicago Sky. Go Storm! Tonight, they'll be back on the court to match-up against the Sacramento Monarchs. It's kind of a crappy, rainy day, so sitting inside and watching those girls kickass is a very good option.

GLOBAL FEVER: UW Professor Emeritus William Calvin has written 14 books. Among them is his latest, Global Fever: How to Treat Climate Change, wherein "Calvin argues that it is still possible to avoid a dire fate if we act now, jump-starting what would amount to a third industrial revolution—one of clean technologies—until we achieve the necessary scientific breakthroughs."
