According to the University of Washington's Official Athletic Site that Seattlest Reader Frank sent me to, these are the lyrics to the current University of Washington Anthem: Alma Mater To her we sing who keeps the ward O'er all her sons from sea to sea Our alma mater Washington A health, a health we give to thee Child of the mighty western land You're the mother of a mighty race Silent her gentle vigil holds In strength, purity and grace All hail! O Washington! Thy sons and daughters sing glad acclaim Through years of youth and loyalty And still in age we sing they fame In honor thy towers stand The battlements shine in dawning light And glow again in sunset rays All hail! Yes Frank, I imagine that is true! Thanks for the link. I am not a Husky by graduation, but since my wonderful hippie University-UC Santa Cruz-banned "war games" like football in the founding documents of the University, I have always gotten my college sports fix from the UW. Thus, I'm only familiar with Bow Down to Washington, not the archaic "Alma Mater" anthem you linked me to. Wow. That does need to be changed. Thanks so much again Frank!

What is the current Anthem Auburnist? I would say that's the question they're trying to not have asked so much anymore... It's here BELOW "Bow Down" http://gohuskies.cstv.com/trads/020498aae.html I've only ever heard it at graduation.

Don't worry, Abbey... "Bown Down" is the fight song, not the Anthem.
