tis hard to say what was/is goin' thru everyone's mind here in this court of blog opinion, so to speak, but one thing's for sure: Johnny Depp lives in France. Frickin' FRANCE. which makes this a non-controversy, assuming, of course, that, ummmm, uhhhh, OMG, hep me, i think i just almost but not quite turned into the Uptight Seattleite's scatterbrained lawyer/slash/personal-guru/slash/pot-dealer dude... whew, close one! ;-)

The fact that "Shilo Urban" used the term "spreading like wildfire" to describe the rumor, when no one I've talked to in the community has heard a peep about it...that's where she loses me. But who wants to bet Culture Mob's traffic quadrupled yesterday with the surfacing of this rumor?
