Heads Up: Neil Diamond at Key Arena September 24th

We didn't know Neil Diamond has a new album (Home Before Dark, out May 6th), and we don't care that he has a new album (even though it is his second collaboration with uber-producer Rick Rubin). We're just glad to hear that this September, Neil Diamond is coming to town. Even after he whored himself on this week's American Idol, it's hard to hate on the legend.

With a four-decade long career that has seen more than 125 million records sold worldwide, 36 Top 40 hits, a Grammy, a Golden Globe, and thousands of sold-out shows all over the globe, Neil Diamond remains one of the most vital and innovative forces in modern music. To the delight of his millions of fans, legendary singer, songwriter, and performer Neil Diamond will return to concert stages this summer for a 37-city North American tour. The 2008 summer tour will deliver a familiar yet unique fan experience featuring amazing production, innovative stage design, and, of course, an unparalleled set list of Diamond’s most beloved hits, classics such as "Sweet Caroline," "I’m a Believer," "Cherry, Cherry," "I Am, I Said," "America," and "Cracklin' Rosie."

After hitting every venue in the country with "Arena" or "Center" in its name (along with two nights at Madison Square Garden), Neil Diamond will play Key Arena Wednesday, September 24th. The presales for the Seattle show are going on now, and tickets will be available to the general public starting Monday at 10 a.m. The man don't come cheap; a seat at this performance is gonna run you $54-$119, not including all those pesky Ticketmaster fees.
