Can't Miss It: Weekend Edition

CHARITABLE INDULGENCES: If you're not too hungover from tonight's couture cocktails with Jack Mackenroth at Product Runway, something beautiful involving imported beer and fine Scotch is happening in Fremont both tonight and tomorrow: the HopScotch Spring Beer and Scotch Festival. The festival's a benefit for NW Folklife, so think of your purchase of extra tequila tastings as an act of springtime charity.

5 p.m.-12 a.m. Friday, 1 p.m.-12 a.m. Saturday // Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St // $25 // 21+

PRANK PHONE CALLS: Tim and Eric's Awesome Comedy Tour happens at Neumos tonight, and though the early show at 8 pm is sold out, they've added a late show at 11:30 p.m.! A little laughter goes a long way these days, and we absolutely love the friendly energy at Seattle comedy shows.

11 p.m., Friday // Neumos, 925 E Pike // $15 // All ages

ROCK'N'ROLL, MAN: Hipster-friendly Devotchka at Showbox SODO is very sold-out, indeed, so take your cash to see the funny and excellent folk rocker Tim Seely at the Tractor Tavern on Saturday night. "Space-folk songs for hard luck lovers" should be all you need to hear to head over to Ballard for a night of whiskey and rock n' roll. For a musical pre-funk, head to Silver Platters at 7 p.m. for a free Thee Emergency in-store performance.

9:30 p.m., Saturday // Tractor Tavern, 5213 Ballard Ave NW // $8adv // 21+

NATURE: "Exploring Trees Inside And Out" closes on Sunday at the Pacific Science Center. This is a great choice for the kinetic learners amongst you (we know you're out there!) who harbor arbor inclinations and curiosities, and really...who doesn't love trees? This exhibit is interactive, family-friendly, and leaving Seattle soon. Cannot miss it.

10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday // Pacific Science Center, 200 2nd Ave N // $11 adults, $6 kids
